Week 89: Starting To See Some Progress

Hey Everyone!

This week was a good one, and we are still trying to push, and it has been hard, but we are seeing progress in the work, and we can see that there is a lot of potential building up behind the scenes,

This week, We did quite a bit of street contacting, and we were able to find new investigators, one of which accepted a baptismal date, which was a huge blessing for us.

Also, a member brought a family to church yesterday, and it was a mother with 4 children, and she has three more that were at home!  So, this week, we are planning on going over there to be able to start the teaching process!

This week, we also got to do intercambios with some Elders in the Zone, and I got to work with Elder Marin, from San Diego!  It was a great intercambio, and we had so much fun, and worked so hard.  At the end of the day, we got to teach a woman named Beti for the first time, and it was great!  It looked like she felt the spirit, and she wants us to come back!

This morning, I decided to study Joseph Smith History, and I asked God in my prayer to ask me to FEEL the truth of what happened in the Sacred Grove.  This morning, I woke up with some anxiety, but as I started reading Joseph Smith´s account, I had so much peace come over me.  It was such a blessing!  The Restoration is true, and I know that the church is true!

Funny

During intercambios, Elder Marin and I met a really crazy woman.  She is an inactive member of the church, and she told us that she doesnt go to church because she is a nurse and has to work to support her family (because she has ann 11 year old and a 14 year old), and that she is 56.  Then, two seconds later, she told us that she has a granddaughter, that she is 86, and retired, and every few seconds changed the story.  It was hilarious haha.

I love you all!
